Asus Eee Pc 901 Falls to $ 500 Review
Asus Eee PC 901 falls to 0
For reasons unknown, netbook manufacturers (on the whole, at least) asked for ridiculous sums of money for their goods, but now the novelty of the sector is beginning to fade, we see these numbers start to head south. Following in the footsteps of Acer, ASUS has evidently reduced the entry price of its fine Ebony / Pearl White Eee PC 901 to 9.99. Yep, that’s the one with a 8.9-inch screen, 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 12GB SSD and a 6-cell battery. So is it low enough for you, or for the Buy 1 Get 1 youwaiting offer that may never coming?
It seems that Asus is cutting the price of the Eee PC 901. Previously you could pick up this notebook with a 8.9 inch Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 12GB SSD, 1GB of RAM and Windows XP for about 9. But now, Amazon only 9 calls for the netbook and I’m guessing other retailers will soon follow suit.
This is not the first time Asus has lowered The price for a netbook keep in line with prices for the same specced machines. When the laptop MSI Wind has published 10 inches with a 6-cell battery for 0, Asus cut the price of 10 inch, 6-cell Eee PC 1000H 0-0. And now that Lenovo, Dell, officials of the band, others offer portable 8.9 inch Netbooks b, it only makes sense that Asus would follow suit.
Oh yes, the 20GB Linux version of the Eee PC 901 is now available for 9.
Will they sell for the same price in India as well?
